Veronica grew up in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.  She attended high school at Saint Paul’s in Concordia. After high school she returned to Cape Girardeau attended Metro Business College graduating as a Licensed Massage Therapist in 2002.

In 2007 Veronica married Clint Oetting, and moved with him to San Clemente, California where they lived until 2009.  In 2009 Veronica and Clint moved to North Carolina with their newborn daughter, Layla.  Veronica and Clint had a second daughter, Jemma, in 2011.  Living 10 minutes from the beach, Veronica and her girls frequently visited the beach at Topsail Island and all three developed quite a love for the beach.  In 2016 Veronica and her family moved to Fredericksburg, Virginia while Clint finished up his time in the Marine Corps.  Upon his retirement in May, 2020 Veronica and her family moved to Concordia.

Veronica and Clint’s girls are in 9th grade at St. Paul Lutheran High School and 6th grade at St. Paul's Grade School.  They also have two extremely sweet and playful dog named Jovi and Harley.  When she is not working, Veronica enjoys being with her family, going to the beach, driving her Jeep, fishing, and doing pretty much anything outdoors.
