Kathy Cooper
PT, DPT, TPS
Kathy grew up in Pittsburg, KS, attended Wichita State university where she received her Bachelor’s of Health Science and her Master’s of Physical Therapy. She married Brent Cooper in August 1995. In 2001 they moved to Concordia, MO where she partnered to open Physical Therapy of Concordia in 2004. In 2012 Kathy and Shelly Yount, PTA became sole owners of the clinic. In June 2017 they opened Knob Noster Physical Therapy with 2 other partners. In Feb 2018 she completed her transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy with a Therapeutic Pain Science Certification.
Kathy and Brent's family consists of Cailey Clouse, DPT since 2022 and her husband Garrett; Cameron Cooper, PharmD graduate 2024, and Cate Cooper, student at University of Central Missouri with an emphasis in pre-PT. Their family has loved their Yorkie Ray for 14 years.
Owning and operating a Physical Therapy clinic is a roller coaster. I would not want to be on this ride with any other people than my family, my current work family and this community.
Jennifer McCaslin
PT
Jennifer graduated from Concordia High School and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from Rockhurst College. She lived in Oklahoma and worked in acute care at a hospital, where she met her husband, Rod. Jennifer also obtained work experience in an outpatient hospital setting and a private practice outpatient setting. She returned to work part time as a physical therapist in 2010 at Physical Therapy of Warrensburg and then had the opportunity to transfer to Physical Therapy of Concordia. Jennifer is certified in LSVT BIG and PWR! (Parkinson's Disease Programs), Graston Technique (instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization). She is currently working part time at PTC and is glad to provide care to local communities to return patients to their previous level of function.
Jennifer & Rod have two children, Nathan, who graduated from University of Central Missouri, and is currently working as a small mammal keeper at Blank Park Zoo, and Phillip, who is currently attending Northwest Missouri State University. In her free time, she enjoys taking pictures, scrapbooking, discovering treasure in the West Bottoms, trying new recipes, and spending time with her family, parents and friends.
Morgan Toensing
PT, DPT, PCES
Morgan grew up in small-town Nebraska and graduated from Concordia University, Nebraska in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. She then received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Rockhurst University in 2018. Morgan joined the PTC family in August 2018 and since then has received further training in functional dry needling, myofascial release, and pelvic health. She is passionate about helping women with pelvic floor dysfunction and is also certified as a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist through Sarah Duvall.
Morgan is married to J.T., who is a teacher and coach at St. Paul Lutheran High School and together they have two kids, Judah and Ava. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and kids, as well as their chocolate lab, Rosie. She also enjoys going on walks, reading, listening to podcasts, and traveling to visit family.
Sydney Allen
PT, DPT

Sydney was born and raised in Salisbury, MO. She attended the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO and graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in May of 2022. In June of 2022 she married Eric Allen and made Sweet Springs her home. Eric and Sydney welcomed their first son, Ellis, into this world in December of 2023.
Sydney began working for Physical Therapy of Concordia in July 2022. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as spending time outside and down at the lake.
Shelly Yount
PTA
Shelly has worked in the "therapy world" since the late 1990's then in August of 2004 she was a
part of the opening of Physical Therapy of Concordia in the front desk and tech position. In
2007, she returned to school and graduated in 2009 with her Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Penn Valley in Kansas City. Since that time, is now co-owner in the clinic in Concordia and is also co-owner at Knob Noster Physical Therapy which opened in 2017.
Shelly is certified in Graston Technique (instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization), Kinesio taping for support & edema and Myofascial Cupping as well as treatment of the various conditions that are referred to the clinic on a daily basis. Shelly’s goal as well as the goal of Physical Therapy of Concordia is to assist patients in reaching their personal goals whether that is following an injury, a surgery, a new diagnosis or even prevention. Each patient’s treatment is individualized to their personal abilities in order to assist in achieving those goals.
Shelly grew up in Concordia and has been married to her husband Troy since 1995. They have two children. Their son Turner graduated from University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg and is currently working at Thrivent Financial in Concordia. Their daughter Landry is in the Medical Radiological Technology program at State Technical College in Linn, MO. Landry is also a part-time/prn employee of PTC.

Jaala Schlesselman
PTA
Jaala was born and raised in Concordia, MO. She graduated from Concordia High School in 2008 then received her Associate's degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Penn Valley in 2011. She became interested in Physical Therapy after having 4 knee surgeries while in high school. In addition to her surgeries, Jaala was hired by Physical Therapy of Concordia in 2007 as a tech and assisted with office work/filing on the weekends. With that experience, she knew PTC was the place for her and has been working for them ever since. Jaala is certified in LSVT BIG and PWR! (Parkinson's Disease Programs), Graston Technique (instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization), Blood Flow Restriction, Kinesio Taping, as well as treating the various conditions referred to the clinic on a daily basis.
Jaala married her high school sweetheart Steven (born and raised farmer from Concordia) in 2013. They have three children; Brinley, Mason and Isabelle.
Brittany Morrison
PTA
Brittany was born and raised in Concordia, Mo. She graduated from Ozarks Technical Community College with her Physical Therapist Assistant degree in 2017. Continued education with Pelvic Floor Therapy and Myofascial Release in 2020, bachelor's degree in health science with a minor in Psychology in 2022. She is now pursuing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy, to finish December 2024.
Brittany has enjoyed starting her family with her husband, Trevor They have 3 dogs, Dax, Sophie, and Rosie and welcomed their daughter, Harper, in June 2024. She began working for Physical Therapy of Concordia in October 2017.
Being outdoors is her get away place. She enjoys deer hunting and spending time with friends and family in her free time.

Michelle Boland
Authorization Coordinator
Michelle (Winter) Boland graduated from Sweet Springs R-7 in 1989. She earned her bachelor's degree in education from the University of Central Missouri and her Master's in Education from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Michelle married Donald Boland in December of 1994. Together, they have two children, Bailey and Brock.

Michelle and her family live in rural Sweet Springs. Michelle enjoys camping, fishing, and spending time with her family and traveling.
Michelle joins Physical Therapy of Concordia after 13 years in the education field.
MIchelle (Winter) Boland graduated from Sweet Springs R-7 in 1989. She earned her bachelor's degree in education from the University of Central Missouri and her Master's in Education from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Gena Brackman
Billing Manager
Gena was born and raised in Norborne, MO, a small farming community. She has been happily married to Kevin for 33 years. They have 2 daughters, Ashley and her husband Adam, and Marissa and her husband Matt. She became grandma in 2019. Gena has been in healthcare doing insurance billing, for over 33 yrs. She started out working for a Chiropractor in Higginsville. When she got married she started working for Meyer Medical Clinic in Concordia and worked there for 29 yrs.
Gena enjoys being a grandma to Avery and Aiden, and Hudson. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, sewing, crafting, cooking, and gardening.

Sheryl Wodrich
Receptionist
Sheryl grew up in Alma, MO and attended the University of Central Missouri receiving her Associate in Science-Legal Secretarial, Bachelor of Science in Education-Business Education and Master of Science in Education-Secondary Education/Curriculum and Instruction. She retired after 30 years of teaching jr. high, high school and jr. college. She has been married to her husband, Darren since 1992. They have three boys, Cole (Callie), Tanner (Lexy) and Carter. She also has four grandchildren, Walker, Lincoln, Easton and Lainey.
She enjoys spending time with her family, going to their cabin and crocheting.
